Is it worth it to buy the 60 dollar founder versus the 20? I really dont care for the cosmetic stuff, but do you get anything in the 60 which you would have to buy any ways in game or most likely would?
I am guessing Cleric is the least played class. Do you guys think that's true?
Remembered one more: I have been reading that Humans are the best race for every class. Doesn't make a lot of sense. If any, which race is best for Cleric?

You get a mount and companion both of which are account wide and comparable items cost a decent chunk of zen. An item which will let you breeze fast through the first 15 or so levels. A couple of amusement type items, a pack of handy items, a pile of astral diamonds which depending on what you want to do with them will last you a short time or a long time. Oh and 1 extra character slot.
Last you get to start playing on Saturday.
Frankly you have to decide if the above is worth it for you or not.

The mount and companion in the $60 pack are a pretty darn good deal. Not good enough for me to buy into, but they're still a good deal, especially packaged along with the 3 day head start and the AD that come with it. A T3 mount is something like 3 million AD, or, I think, about $30 from the store. There might be cheaper ones.
I honestly don't know. Typically, healers and tanks are always in demand in MMOs tho. Personally, I don't like clerics much. The game was intentfully designed to be completeable at all stages without a cleric, and clerics weren't given any real DPS or buff boosts to make up for it. All the classes have sufficient self healing - the cleric just really doesn't add anything to the group. I think they need a big buff in just about every area to compete with the utility of any other class - heals, DPS, buffs.
The 3 extra feat points that Humans get as their racial ability is undeniably strong, but there are definitely cases where another race is better suited either to your class, playstyle, or aesthetic liking. Frankly, all of the racial bonuses are so minor, even this one, that it's largely a cosmetic decision. Intelligent playing can go a long ways in an action combat game like this, where a character's power is derived more from the player than from the stats.
That being said, I think human is the best race for clerics, mostly because none of the other races have stat bonuses for any 2 of the cleric's preferred stats. Half-elves, despite their laughably terrible +1% gold find, make a good candidate for cleric as well. So do Tieflings, actually - the 5% extra damage to injured targets is a big DPS boost that can't really be replicated by a stat or feat bonus, as is the chance to debuff targets attacking you. I think Tieflings stand beside Humans as powerful races, and perhaps the Half-Orc as well.

Thank you taking the time to answer my questions.
Follow up question:
So the head start doesn't matter to me. I am not a hardcore player by any means. I won't play more than 1 character most likely, so whatever starting slots you get will be fine for me. Question regarding a companion, what is that? Does it do anything or is it only a cosmetic bird that follows you around, like in WoW? Also regarding the mount, is there a free one in game, or do you have to buy it from the store? And what are Astral diamonds?
Regarding Clerics, that REALLY blows! I was hoping to play a real healer which was needed...to heal. So does this game have 5-6 man parties for dungeons or everything soloable? Are there any raids? Clerics aren't needed for any of that?

Astral Diamonds are a currency. Gold is used for the most basic necessities: your first mount, basic companions, potions, injury kits. Gear at the AH, upgrades for your mounts and companions, and feat re-specs are bought using AD. AD can also be exchanged for Zen, the store currency bought with real money.
You don't get a free mount in the game, but the first one available is for purchase via gold, and cheap at that. The difference is only in run speed, and even a T1 is a significant boost. It's certainly a convenience item, not a necessity.
The companions are pretty awesome! They are not only cosmetic - they can help you in combat. They range from the Man at Arms, the Cleric Disciple, to the Hawk, the Wolf, to Dancing Swords, Book Imps and Ioun Stones. You get your first companion for free in a quest, and other companions can be bought with gold, AD, or Zen. Companions have a max level they can attain, and you can unlock higher levels for them with Astral Diamonds. When they level up, they take time to train. You have 3 free companions slots, so it's wise to find companions for all three, for when one is busy training. You can equip them with gear. Some companions are strikers, some are defenders, and others are completely passive, just giving a bonus to the player.
The game has content designed both for parties and for soloing. The only "raid" in the game right now, it would appear, is Gauntlgrym, which sports 20 man teams, and 20v20 pvp at that. It has both PvE and PvP mixed together. There are also epic (level 60) versions of every dungeon delve in the game (the delves are challenging 5-man content).
You should note that this is just my personal opinion on the cleric, and despite that I think they are underpowered at the moment, they are undeniably fun to play. They have a pretty innovative system for healing players by damaging enemies. It's a much more engaging experience than playing a cleric in most other MMOs (I typically always play the healer). So, it was also a little bit disappointing to me that cleric's heals in this game were... well, underwhelming, even if fun to do. But again, that's just my opinion.

I should note that Companions will definitely be the #1 thing I spend money on in this game. Not because they're powerful: they're just as troublesome as any idiot AI henchman I've ever used in any other game. No, I like them because they're cool. Because I like having a devoted disciple following me around, or a dancing sword, or a pet cat, or a fiendish servant.

Thanks again. I don't really see an amazing balance to buying the 60 pack. I think I will just wait until Tuesday and play like everyone else. Thanks a lot for your input.
Yes its worth it. If only because its the cost of a normal game these days anyway. Since there's no other games out this month that I want to buy (really not buying any console games anymore til next gen) it was a no brainer. The companion, mount and AD are just gravy.
Plus..its a simple way to support the devs. The $200 pack now, that's a diff story
Think of it this way. The companion is a purple quality companion, others of the same quality go for ~$35 in the store (using what I remember the honeybadger being) give or take, and they are a 1 character item. So, value wise, you are getting a $35 x however many characters you make value there. The mount is a tier 3 mount 110% speed (store ones are listed at $40 for 120%) so lets call it another $30-35 value since both are account wide.
Astral diamonds are in in game currency, that can also be exchanged for cash shop currency at a fluctuating rate that maxes out at 500 diamonds for 1 in store currency (1 cent) so at 600000 diamonds assuming the top exchange rate would net you a $12 value there, in other crypic games it usually settles around 200:1 so it could be around a $30 value. Also the adventure helping pack is listed at ~$12 in the store, and the character slots are 2 for $5, so one extra would be $2.50
The mount and the account wide companion were the big sellers to me.
My advice, if you see yourself really getting into this game, its a GREAT value, but if you just want to check the game out for a few weeks/months and move on, it wouldnt be worth it.

I probably fall into the latter category. I would just play the game for 1-2 months, max out or come as close as possible to maxing out then move on.
If you think you are going to play this game for any significant amount of time, the Guardian pack seems a no brainer to me. The companion and mount almost pay for it for just one character.

Race does not matter, nor does the class, so long as you feel comfortable playing it.
Have fun!
