Not from what I could see. I would also like to see weapon skins, either as drops or from the shop. It's just so plain booring with no variety.

Pretty sure there will be weapon skins for sale in the shop sooner or later.

Probably more later than sooner. If they wanted you to be able to use those weapons or look like you are, they would have allowed the class to be able to equip them more than likely imo.

A wand for the wizard was available from the Wondrous Bazaar for Astral Diamonds. But I did not see it when I looked again in BW4. This same merchant sells various other high end weapons, including axes and maces. So that is the place to look.

The items are all high level, and cost a ton of diamonds. But in theory you could use the cosmetic system to move the skin onto your low level weapon. But it will cost you diamonds every time you move it.

I am also hoping for a wpn skin system. That way the cleric can have different holy symbols for the various race/deities.

I see no reason why they can't implement weapon skins at some point in the future. Just be prepared to spend Zen on them.

Cryptic has released skins for weapons in CO, so if there is enough demand for them here I'm guessing we'll see them.

CO's costumes are mostly separated from from your stat-gear though. I'm personally not expecting the same elaborate character creator anytime soon :)

There is a "transmogrifier" in game though right? Or Have I got my wires crossed somewhere?

Yes there is, you can copy a weapons appearance by paying AD.

I know i had multiple option to choose from for the visual appearance of my Cleric's holy symbol.

There are no slottable 'skins' for weapons but you can use the change appearance function to permanently destroy an item to modify the appearance of your current item. In BW4 I went through the AH, bought high level but cheap items, and changed appearance to get some cool new armor and weapon :)

I do think I read somewhere that when more paragon paths and classes will become available more types of weapons would also be introduced. So that way you could at least equip other types. Thats not speaking about changing the skins though. But if they become available the skins will also be. I don't know if there are going to be some at the launch of the game.

Does this apply to clothing too ?
