I'm aware that Neverwinter is similar to WoW in that once you exceed the level of a dungeon you can't queue for it anymore.

I did hear before that you can actually travel to the dungeon itself so my question is are you merely locked out of queuing up for it or are you locked out of the dungeon indefinitely?

If it's the former than that's no problem since you can accompany friends who may be of a lower level then you into a dungeon you've already completed so long as you both travel there but if it's the latter.......then wtf.

Which is it?

Thnx in advance :)

This has been answered quite a few times, so you may want to try a search before making a new thread next time you have a question; it saves you time on waiting for an answer, and in case you have further related questions, it keeps all info in one place. That said, yes, you could enter dungeons outside of the queue at any level in BW4 by walking up to the entrance.

I wondered about the same thing a few days ago. A forum search answered both 'Yes, you can if you go to the physical entrance to the dungeon' and 'No, you could at one time but now there's a level lock no matter how you try to enter the dungeon'. I'm still curious which one of those answers is correct.

Most of the time a forum search of the question is a great thing but in this case, it's not very helpful. I plan on just waiting and trying to zone into a dungeon and finding out for myself once open beta begins and I'm of level to try.

via the Queue UI you are limited by levels.

the front door of a dungeon allows anyone in regardless of level.
Open the Launcher. Click Options near the top. Check Disable on-demand patching. This will download another couple of gigs.

Speaking of the dungeon finder, does it properly group you with a Guardian, Cleric, and 3 DPS yet?

In BW4, the few dungeons I queued for, it did. Might have just been luck and level though, I don't know what the issues were before.

That and I read somewhere that it was possible to complete the dungeons with any class mix, or is that just the lower level dungeons?

I'll skew the group makeup because I'm a Cleric, but I was placed in groups without a guardian or was in groups with another cleric.

the GWF can tank but it's more of an off-tank/add-tank.

It's certainly possible at low levels, as I've done it. It's nice too, as you can just go into low level dungeons with whoever and make up any deficiencies with companions. I hope this is the same for higher level dungeons as well. I would hate to have a situation where there are required roles for dungeons.
