Repeated Crash

I keep crashing and getting a "Fatal Error: Error modifying .hogg file Err#: 530"

Then when I try to relog, The client gets stuck at "Patching" with no movement on the progress bar.

I can play for a bit if I reboot my computer, but I always crash again.

Anyone have similar issues/an idea of how to fix?

    I had a crashing issue. I applied the patch (after getting the error screen), rebooted my pc and set the launcher to run as admn.
    I played for 1 &1/2 hrs with no crashes and the game at max settings.

    I had the same issue recently (even though your post is quite older ;)) and have found out that to my surprise I had almost no free space on my HDD, so I had to release some files and voila, it was working OK.
    Perhaps you might have had the same issue, perhaps some NTFS permissions set on your folder have been mismatched or the specific file is corrupt - you might try to MOVE it to desktop and re-start the process again...
