And what is it exactly? Is it a stat on your character sheet?
Then it's probably the multiplier for critical damage.
Like by defaut a critical will deal 2 times the normal damage, if you get more critical severity it becomes 2.5 times or more...

Critical Severity is shown as a +1% bonus on the Half-Elf racial bonus. It also shows up in on the GWF Tier 4 Heroic Feats in 5/10/15% increments.
It also shows up on the Renegade Tier 3 Paragon Feats for Control Wizard. When you deal Combat Advantage damage you gain 3/6/9/12/15% Critical Severity for 6 seconds.
Half-Orcs have a racial bonus that does +5% Critical Damage.. so I was curious how the 2 might be different, as they are worded differently.
Furious Assault - Your Critical Hits do an additional 5% damage.
It doesn't mention "Critical damage", unless the wording is different in game. Otherwise, I don't know what it is. I'll stick with my explanation until someone proves me wrong.
Crit severity increases your crit dmg.
The base crit dmg modifier is 175% for every class. With +1% crit severity it becomes 176%.

kk, that makes sense.. I guess I was thinking into the Half-Orc bonus too much and misread it. I guess I can rest assured knowing that Critical Severity is the % dmg modifier for critical strikes.
