Access to drow race?

So is purchasing the Hero of the North Founder's Pack the ONLY way you will be able to access the drow race period, or just a "renegade" option or something?

    Normal drow race will be free for everyone 60 days after launch. The renegade is a separate thing and only for HotN purchasers

    And if your wondering why free? You only get 2 character slots. So if you want a drow after at least 2 months of official release then you will need to buy another character slot. If you want to name save a Drow at launch but want to make 2 original characters you will need to buy a character slot. The Slots will be a easy money maker with release of new races and classes.

    Its a free to play game, if you want to save a name, just make a new account just for the sole purpose of reserving that name you want.

    Why? Each character name is unique by account. It's not unique by server. You can have a character named Lilith, and I can have a character named Lilith. They can even meet each other.

    Mine will be Lilith@lanessar13 and yours will be Lilith@Krueger. Just the @lanessar13 part won't be visible until you interact or chat with the person.

    And honestly, you get two character slots with each account by default. Reserve (as in: do not make a character in) one, or delete the character you don't like/use as a mule/etc. if you really don't want to spend $5 for 2 more slots.

    Ok, thanks for the info. I thought I had heard for sure that drow would be playable to all, but got a little confused after reading some stuff on the net and was just hoping for some clarification lol.
