Hero and Guardian pack problem (error opening box)

Greetings,

Since I have both Hero of the North and Guardian of the North, I recieved 2 boxes from the mail courier. When I used the guardian box first, it wouldnt let me open the Hero box because of "duplicate items" When I let the charater sit for a while and changed my title around, then I could open the Hero box.

I haven't seen a thread about this issue yet. Figured I better post a bug report (and yes, I bought both, deal with it)

    Seems like I got that error message when I tried to open the box and I have ONLY the Hero of the North pack. I just assumed it was some kind of bug - they had certainly better fix THAT before release, though. I cannot imagine what "duplicate" item---- ah, I bet it was the Bag of Holding. I used the vendor guy to get the bag and THEN tried to open the present/box, which is probably intended to hold the Bag of Holding.

    Had that too. You have already a bag of holding, you got from the NPC close to Sgt. Knox.
    This is the duplicate item and wouldn't let you open the box. The Guardian pack has no bag.

    //edit: and opened a ticket for it.

    This error would occur if you had already claimed the Founder's Pack items from the Founder's Agent over by Sgt. Quin. Since the title and (if you had a Hero pack) bag are once per character, claiming them again from the gift box that was mailed would return an error. There was nothing extra or hidden in it- if you claimed your items from the agent, you weren't missing anything by not being able to open the bag.

    Actually I discovered this was due to the bag. This needs to be fixed. I deleted the bag and I could open the other box so the duplicate/unique message is based on the bag you get and it not being able to be stacked currently (have two of them).

    EDIT NM Melanderi answered it. But wont this have problems with the adventurer pack?

    You have to toss out the existing bag of holding before you can open the box. (Remove items from it, drag it from "bag" slot into normal inventory, then drag it off inventory to be rid of it (right-clicking and choosing "discard" didn't work - prolly as a safety).

    Note: I did this and opened the box in BW3 - all that were inside was a (wild guess?) Bag of holding and the Founder title - that's all. I wouldn't be concerned about it until launch.
