One quite a few of the 5 man dungeons if some in your party died and released back to the spawn point, you could have them stand by the entry way and drag the boss over to them. Bosses with AoE attacks could then hit the compansions and sometimes players with aoe effects. I don't know what the mechanic was that caused the boss to glitch through the barriers but they would and could if this occurred. Also a rogue could shadowstep behind a boss in some instances if they clipped through the door way.

i'm not entirely sure what you mean on this part, could you clarify?
I have more questions than answers. What Bosses? I guess I could see the Pirate maybe clipping if he did his Shadowstep and you were standing with your back against the Barrier...I'll stop speculating until you reply.
My initial thought process
You shouldn't die...ill give you...wipe, in an instance until you reach The Mad Dragon. :P So I'm going to envision all instances from there on...
Let me take a more organized stab at that. I was juggling math homework and thinking of multiple experiences within the game that I clumped together that, now that I think about it maybe weren't "quite a few" so much as I noticed the issues on multiple bosses.
Ok, for instance if someone stood by the barrier and ran into the wall (holding down the run button) their compansions would path forward a touch past the wall or into it enough so that aoe attacks from the boss or mobs would then hit the companion and sometimes would also hit the player. The companions in question wouldnt engage the boss but healing companions would heal players (which i assume generated aggro) and bosses would come through the wall. I only had a healing companion and couldn't tell you what other players used.
I was also able to shadow step through the barrier on one boss fight (multiple times) in particular BUT saw others rogues reenter on other bosses (im assuming with the same or similiar mechanic) Better?
