How many health pots did you go through lol. I got mine to 28 and felt after around 25 my tank companion could hold aggro off me anymore. I seemed to be chugging pots all the time. I did enjoy the GWF but its a toss up between that and the Guardian for main at launch. I think Ill go Guardian.
My name was Quackers, I got to 50 by noon on Sunday. Ask me anything, from mechanics to stats.
Have at it.

frankieraye: I'll see if we can replace the woman with a stick figure and the tiger fangs with marshmallows./Issues like these need to get escalated quickly to minimize the damage.
Kantorek: Yeah.. you should try it. It's awesome.
Sihndra: Nope- not currently possible under any circumstances. Sorry.
LokisDottir: I mean...not haunting the forums, nope nope.
Konariraiden: You don't know what you are up against. You will lose.

In pvp I only lost 3 conquests total,
I used my mobility and extra dash over every class as my sole advantage.
I found them to be the best class to solo queue pvp and win a game purely because of the annoyance they can cause a team.
I did use a lot of health pots while i was leveling it seemed fine because i picked up so many from the mobs though.
Most of the time I was leveling with a Control Wizard and a Cleric though, so during that time I was able to gain a lot of health pots on reserve.

Everything is nothing at the same time.
After noon on Sunday I went and got my mom a birthday present and met a few new girls to take out later in the week when I don't have school or work.
what did you think of the lvl 30 paragon power? imo it was a load of horse poo, damage was terrible, not to mention slow. better off using the slower 3 hit combo one.

I'm glad you thought they were good in PvP. From what I've seen they tend to get demolished.

I had a 2H Mace (Club) from the Cloak Tower at level 16 on my GWF.

How did you feel the damage output was? Was it comparable to the rogue or the control wizard? Did you get to run much group content to compare against the other classes?

It took me a while to find a niche for the lvl 30 paragon power for the Swordman, I thought the animation looked cool, but to find a practical use for it was difficult. The debuff didn't really last long enough for my taste, I used it mainly for the extra range in group mobs and I spec'd into the talent that made my target's take more damage from my encounter skills. I found that if you used it and then used another at will it spiked damage for that next at will combo by ~20%. What i really thought was unique about it was it's synergy with the charge up at will skill. since if it crit you got a nice boost in aoe dps sadly the debuff didn't last long enough for my liking.
There was a mace skin that I saw, although I never got it. Their paragon path that was available was called "Swordsman" so in release I'd imagine them to be able to use other great weapons like an Axe or a Mace through another paragon path. Although I felt the sword looked better than the mace. An axe would be cool though, but I've always been a fan of swords. Especially since the animation sounds are catered more to a sword, bar from their at-will sure strike's final blow.
In dungeons my damage ouput was always on top, whenever there were multiple mobs there was no contest. If adds spawned on boss fights I was the first person to pull them onto me and start aoeing. This also charged my tab skill a lot faster allowing for more dps when i switched back over to the boss. Also in the idea of practical dps I always had options to deal damage due to having multiple charges and always being able to keep stamina on reserve for sprint.
The tanking talents really caught my interest as well but there was no additional threat gain to be able to keep aggro away from your cleric, who would pull aggro off me in a matter of seconds because they were charging up their tab skill.
I was by no means demolished in pvp and I rarely died, but I abused their amazing mobility to wait for my cooldowns.
I didn't get much pvp in the 40s though since not many people would queue, so I didn't get to test out flourish's capabilities, but I would never give up the charge in my kit for anything.

What tactic did you employ to be an annoyance to the enemy team? all I could come up with was running out in front of my team and drawing the fire of the enemy team. I would block until my meter went down, while my teamates would focus dps on those that were attacking me. It bought us a few seconds of positive damage with no damage taken on our end. Other than that I would mark the enemy with the tab skill, charge and cripple runners.Oh yeas and the daily skill that knocks people down. Problem is people are really good at moving out of the way so it would completely miss a lot. But when it successfully struck 4-5 players....it was GLORIOUS.

I think you got Guardian Fighter and GWF (Great Weapon Fighter) confused
