One Time Code Failure

Are you kidding me? I waited an hour for the code to come. Then it finally came but instead gave me a one time code failure?? OMG

    Check the time stamp .... mine came in 30 min late. So they probably expired by the time they got to you. Not just you if it makes you feel better.

    same problem here...the code came after half an hour

    what should i do for they send me that stupid code?..still waiting 30 min+

    It is a sad time for NW. Just like the challenge, we literally crashed their server.

    The thing is Account Guard won't be getting such a large load after launch. This is a one time authentication unless you log on from a different computer.
    Yes, Account Guard obviously got backlogged HARD but the stress on Account Guard will never be as high as it was today except, possibly, on the open Beta/Launch day.

    The main game servers are designed to sustain a much larger load for a much longer period of time. :)
    I understand the frustration and trust me nobody at Cryptic is thrilled about the backlog and a few other errors but this incident is truly temporary.

    Yes you should be able to request another one to be sent either on that screen or by closing the client down and going back in.

    Yeah but I tried getting in so many times it NOW SAYS IVE tried too many times and must WAIT UNTIL LATER because of too many login attempts. WTF!!!! Argh!!! Ive already waited an hour after first seeing that message too,,,, argh I just wanna check this game out Geez
