I couldn't find the answer to this maybe I'm blind or didn't look hard enough, but i was wondering will you be able to make PvP based maps in the foundry system?

I HOPE that this becomes an actual feature. The Foundry + PvP are quite the epic combination. I could imagine player created siege maps. Two teams spawned on opposite sides of a trap ridden maze death match.

i wouldn't let Players make PvP arenas. or only for the Community which earned the "Dungeon Master" title, since they are trusted in making quality maps.
PvP balance is not just about the skills...

Last we heard from Zeke Sparks (Lead Designer) on a Lorehound Video released Wednesday was that they are seriously looking on making it possible but there's been some pretty big technical challenges to deal with first.
It's never been stated to be in a launch but some of the Dev's had mused about whether people wanted it or not and it seems they have the intention, if it is possible, to allow players to design PvP Foundry Content.

I think it would be an amazing feature myself, but i could only imaging how hard it could be. You have to regulate what you could make so it wasn't a one sided battle or totally unfair to some who entered the map. But if it could be done i could only dream of the events and different creative way that the community can make the game.

Well the coolest thing about the foundry is you choose what to play or not.:D
that depends on how they implement it. If I'm forced to queue up in the player made PvP content... I will be a sad panda. PvE stuff is all good and dandy.

You won't find me playing PvP...basically ever.
I hate the fact PvP is even being added but that's me being selfish. Down with PvP!
But to each their own. There's a demand for PvP so it is being added. As long as the PvP doesn't enegatively impact my PvE Experience I'll be fine and dandy...
But the first person to storm Castle Cryptic if they force players into PvP or PvP Effects PvE will be me. Don't worry I'll supply all the torches and pitchforks
I highly doubt they will force players to play player created content.
They will...but not in a FORCED way.
More that it is completely illogicval to look at Foundry content as 'I'm not interested.'
If you don't play Foundry Content I can basically guarantee you will get bored unless the End Game Content is just through the roof. You will eventually try Foundry Content and enjoy it (the higher quality content) or I would imagine the game would become very stale pretty fast. I am already quite a bit burnt out on the main campaign.
Although PW might not let us. Foundry could produce a lot of pvp balance. If players could produce custom pvp matches like no gems, or no gear, or level balance requirements, pvp could become strictly skill based like a fighting game or a shooter.
Here is a way to create balanced maps in the Foundry:
Mirrored sides- Basically, you create one half of the map. Everything that you put down would be mirrored on the opposite side, so everything is even.
A differernt theme of architecture, textures and coloured lighting could be used to add aesthetic variety, and denote which side belongs to which team (for reference, Warsong Gulch in WOW is like this).
Wouldn't be the most interesting maps ever, but that's an easy workaround to make sure things are fair.
