I'm just curious as to whether the Foundry Beta will be under a NDA. I was hoping to see some good videos on it once it's started.

I don't think the Foundry beta has even started yet (a dev post this weekend said they'll send out the invites "soon")... there's only an alpha (which is definitely under NDA).
yes Foundry Beta is under NDA but the content you make in Foundry beta is not under NDA, you are free to post screenshots and videos as long as they do not contain the UI used to create Foundry content

THIS. And it seams that if it includes alpha compnents, then its restricted. So, summing up... NO UI and NO ALPHA pieces. Everything else can be talked about.

Is it allowed to talk about the features? Like what kind of traps are there, can you create multiple ways to complete a quest etc.
We have an alpha tester in our guild. This person made it pretty clear, that in alpha testing, your golden rule is "shut up, shut up, shut up". The only thing you can be sure to be allowed to say is that you are an alpha tester. Everything else, just "don't ask, don't tell".
Foundry Beta NDA, has to my knowledge, not yet been established. It's likely it is very much as deathssickle described, which is to say you can talk about generalities, but can't reveal specific design components in video or screen shot. I wager they've selected who will test though, or at least begun that process. I don't know for sure, just a hunch based on previous posts and information about when they'd make selections.
Also some of what the Foundry can do won't be discovered for a long time. For example, I really believe, with some creative thought, you could actively DM a session. There was a hint of this in a recent interview of the Foundry designer. But it will likely take weeks of testing/experimentation to get it working. It would not be an exploit by the way, just a creative use of what the Foundry already provides.
So be aware, that much of what the Foundry can do creatively, might not get fully discovered during beta. That there's often a method to get what you might want out of the Foundry, but it requires creative use of the tools and triggers the Foundry provides. That takes a lot of trial and error, that the beta period might not be able to fully accommodate.

So, a question to the people in this thread who I am 98% sure are in the beta...
Are invites still being sent out, or has everyone already been invited? (I don't think this information would be under NDA.) I personally have a pretty big post I wanted to post in the Foundry forums about some rather severe long-term problems with the rating and search/browse systems. If invites have closed, I'll just post it in the beta discussion forum (and probably have nobody from Cryptic read it, but oh well).

You can always talk about things which are public knowledge. So if they already know you are a foundry author from beta, you can tell them that you are. But you cannot reveal inner workings of foundry which are not public knowledge (i.e. X feature is there and can be done like this etc.)
However, once your quest is out, you can again tell them that X feature can be done in NW foundry because your quest (or someone else's) has shown it in beta that it can be done. And beta is not under NDA.
However, screenshots and video cut very close. Its always better to ask first when it is about screenshots and videos - whether content or not.
Also remember always why NDA is there. Many features in foundry may be removed/redone etc. So unless devs say it first - you should not reveal what features are there. Otherwise player expectations will harm the game.

Sominator, Is there any way I can get into the list of hopefuls for the Foundry Beta please? I realise there was a survey on the forums but unfortunately due to work commitments I only saw it after the deadlines had passed.
