Do mobs scale to group size in instances?

I played in the beta weekend this past weekend, and I only got to play solo with the exception of one skirmish. I know that groups can play together in mission instances. My question is, do the mob group sizes scale to the number of players in a regular mission instance? I hope this is the case because I felt like this is what made getting to know people in City of Heroes (Cryptic's first game) easy and fun. I use to really enjoy going from one mission instance to another with a group of people.

    i dont think so... i did a few skirmishes and there were more mob groups but roughly the same size with the exception of a few more tougher mobs at once. since to do an instance you need atleast 5 people, i dont really think it would scale it.

    Mobs stay the same, this does make questing very easy with multiple people
    I am usually Deaths Crowbar.

    Mobs stay the same, this does make questing very easy with multiple people

    It's also something I am sure they are going to have to look into eventually. I suspect with the Foundry specifically, they realized that group exploits are easier to find than for solo play. The power curve is fairly exponential as you add more players and ensuring a UGC module rises exponentially with it, may allow for simpler exploitation.

    Still, they are going to have to do something. I don't think the status-quo can be maintained and keep everyone's interest.

    maybe they scale to your level or party's level ?...

    Foundry monsters scale to your level, so maybe they average it out if you are in a party
