GF sword only?

As a Guardian Fighter can i only use a sword. I prefer my dwarf to use an axe just a little silly to limit GFs to just swords

    i saw in some gameplay videos, that a club and great axe dropped for that class. however noone want playing that class to see the weapon art.

    I'm pretty sure you can wield any one handed weapon as the Guardian Fighter.

    No. It has been shown in videos that GWF can wield greataxe, greatclub too.

    And guardian fighter can wield axe and shield.

    There's more weapon models coming, there's already 1 handed axes for GF and TR in game, mind you it only one of each that I know of.

    Found a 1 handed hammer today for GF as well as boots labeled scourge warlock.

    Grummash's Axe? is one example (gained in the Orc Skirmish if memory serves me)

    Yes. I found one of those for my Dwarf GF and was using it Sunday night. A little smaller then what I think of as a battle ax. I have never seen a two headed hand ax like I think it was suppose to be. But otherwise was not to bad looking for an early weapon. I hope they have other weapon skins waiting in the wings.
