  It's likely that the later tempest ranger will use two swords.

  Two-blade ranger will likely use them, as will tempest fighter.(tempest is a fighter subclass in 4ed{matral powers book})

  Some TR weapon skins are short swords, crafted from Weaponsmithing. There are some others, from diff sources. Also there axes for those ppl nuts and thristy for blood. >_>

  You can get rapiers for TRs in Sharandar and some events.

  you could check out the swords that are 14k each in the AD shop that are free transmutes for rogue. Rogues have a variety of "short swords" that they could weild/transmute. I think it feel like duel wielding swords.
