There are daily powers but how does the game figure in "daytime"?

You accumulate "Action Points" based on doing actions which fit the role of your class. The RGuardian Fighter gains action points for absorbing damage and being a big wall in the middle of the fight.

It's a little different than PnP but it works.

They work as Limit Break in Final Fantasy.

yea, the "Daily" was a really poor choice for a name for them.........

Not entirely, originally they would recharge as you'd rest by a campfire. But because that didn't flow as well with the ideas of a modern game in mind. (Yes, I said it. DnD is old, it might still function and be fun to people. But to the modern impatient little tidwit that wants to pull triggers it sure as hell isn't) So they ended up changing it to the way it is now. Ironically, a lot of the game as it is now used to be different until things were changed around to suit a wider and more modern audience.

Not to mention, Neverwinter sadly does not appear to have a day/night cycle. And I wouldn't say my daily abilities are so powerful it'd be worth having it limited by an actual day.

*puts divination orb back in his bag labelled CCTV*

    Huh? No! I dont!
*again makes sure his orb is out of sight*

I was just saying because it was the first RPG game to introduce that kind of gauge filling up for final attack type combat.
