I've played a few major MMOs over the last few years and I've seen a few different ways they handle addons. Some don't allow them, end of story, some allow a few and some others allow all but hacking/bots. Personally i don't like using addons such as meters and "location of X" maps, i do how ever like rp/ui skin addons. So question to all of you, do you support addons or not, and which kinds(if any) would you use in NWO?

Edit: I apologize for the typo in the poll.

They won't be allowed. And we can extrapolate this because:

    A. Publishers are too scared of hackers to allow it.

    and

    B. The last few MMOs made by cryptic did not include them.

    This is their postion.^
They don't really like third partys playing around with their coding.

Some addons are allowed, but only passive ones that read combat logs.

Can I see where this is stated? This is the first I've heard of it.

As a former addon developer for World of Warcraft, I hope they do allow addons. But just not to the level of World of Warcraft.

User Interface enhancements and Ease-of-Use enhancements are what I think are good choices for allowed mods. Boss mods and addons that could make dungeon running trivial are examples of what I think shouldn't be included.

    Just my opinion though.

not sure if my post was unclear but i'm more curious if the players are for/against it, i was sure that cryptic wouldn't be for it judging by the total lack of addons for their games.
