I've only recently become a regular forum poster on other games, so I don't usually make introductions often. The makeup of this community seems interesting so far, so I'd love to include myself in the bunch. I'm a long time D&D player and a video gamer. I used to play and work on a lot of UGC quests for NWN 1&2, so I'm really excited about what's coming around the bend for this game.
It's a pleasure to meet you all. Looking forward to seeing you all in the Realms.
Also I invite you to have a look at my guild Hardcore Christian Gamers. We are family friendly. If you like it feel free to join.(I leave a link in my signature)
Ill see you on the forums and hopefully tomorrow
P.S. If you havent installed and patched the game do so now, also make sure to turn off the on-demand patching and restart the client
Welcome to Neverwinter!

Hail and well met brave adventurer and welcome to the Neverwinter forum!
If in your journey you seek a guild to aid you on your way, then might I suggest you make your way to the that notice board over there and look at the Directory of the Founder Guilds of Neverwinter as I'm sure you will find something that will take your fancy as DeathsSickle has pointed out. As for Gil.. must have been reading the tabloids again.. what can I say.
Additionally, if you should be seeking a friendly guild that is accepting of all and already has a strong presence in Neverwinter, then might I suggest you look at my own guild, The Neverwinter Knights as we may well be what you seek. All the best.
Regards,
Gov

Hi there, and welcome to Neverwinter! NWN and NWN2 were such great games!
When I first played NWN I picked a mage (as is my habit). Between Summon Monster spells, my familiar, and the hireling fighter I had, I basically had three blockers and could blast things from range. I played for several hours before actually looking up some reviews online (I was playing on my friend's computer to see if I'd want to buy the game, and of course I ended up doing so.) And a lot of these reviews talked about how weak and powerless the mage class felt.. and I was just thinking "WHAT? What are you talking about, have you even played this game?" I felt really over-powered, and couldn't fathom how anyone could call the class weak. Maybe it's just play-style, I dunno. :P
