Rogue videos for the next beta weekends.

Hail Rogues,

I've finally got my video capture up and running. Gotta say it's pretty sexy ( http://www.everythingusb.com/images/list/elgato_game_capture_hd_news.jpg ). But let me get straight to the point. I'm going to be doing a lot of recording for the next beta weekends and I wanted to ask my fellow rogues what kind of content they would like see the most.

> Dungeon runs?

> General lvling gameplay?

> Testing the 3 different talent trees or focusing on just one per beta weekend?

> With commentary or pure shadowy silence?

Or just a mix of the above?

Please let me know or post what you would like to see!

If I make a lot of videos they will mostly likely be in 720p, but if I can squeeze em all onto my pc I'll make em 1080.

    thank you fellow Rogue, for showing us the way!

    I would like to see some things about stores, equipment, and the like. Some testing of the talent trees would be cool too.
    If it is possible, i would like to see the vids in 1080p, as i like to take advantage of my screen. But if it's 720p, no problem, i'm already happy you're willing to show us what the Rogues play like.

    Commentary would be helpful, a preview of the paragon paths as well, even just a mouse over of what you get. I also think a lot of people would breathe easier around here if we knew what sort of weaponry we can equip.

    ya would love to really see the paragon trees..commentary always a must... and perhaps some solo content... curious to see how well one can survive alone......... and any info on traps and disarming would be awesome

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

    I'll do my best. I'm going to buy an external HD with like 2-3 TB of space so I can record everything in 1080. I was leaning more towards commentary myself so I'm glad you guys agree. I'll probably start a new thread once I get all the videos uploaded.

    If you guys get any more ideas or requests please feel free to post.

    Well, if you can, maybe more info about the aesthetics of rogues? Show the armor designs, if you can preview armor from shops that would be great too. How much variety there is in build. Not just what might be considered 'optimal' but a general sense of what you can pick from and how you can develop.

    Just gotta edit the video's guys. Should be up soon. Sadly because my old char was wiped from the last beta I could only get up to lvl 29 this time. I was so busy grinding I was only able to get in 3 good videos including a dungeon run and a detailed breakdown of the trickster rogue paragon trees.

    Anyway, I should have them up soon =)

    Use Duelist Flurry while still in stealth, you will have time to do Lashing Blade with the bonus damage from stealth aswell. It is pointless to break stealth when you can fit more damage in it.
    The thing that boggles me the most is why is there so little abilities. 1 paragon path gives you 1 at will and 2 encounter abilities. Adding to 5-6? existing makes up very little diversity. I'd like to see 10-15 moves + paragon path adding more and increase the abilities you can hold from 3 to 5 or so. Also the rooting in place is just lol. You will never hit a moving target with an ability that takes time to execute which in pvp is crippling, and yes i'm mostly a pvp player. I see dungeons and raids as a means to get gear diversity, nothing else.

    Lol i'ts all good guys. I'm making a new thread for when i post up the vids anyway. Sadly I didn't lvl high enough to get the lvl 40 dungeons anyway.

    I use Xsplit for streaming but I haven't started streaming anything yet. I'm still waiting for my new CPU so I can do 1080p content at 60fps. Will probably start streaming at launch though. You can follow my stream here for those that are interested. I will be playing a Trickster Rogue ofc, as Drow with founders background.
