The official abbreviation for Neverwinter

I have seen various abbreviations for Neverwinter, and they are all ugly:

NWO
NO

The game official name is "Neverwinter". There is no "Online". That's why I think that the abbreviation should be:

N

Alternatively, if this is too short or misleading, we could use:

DDN

Meaning "Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter".

Well I prefer NO but have you, by any chance, seen the URL for these forums once you have arrived here.

    Look at the URL's prefix.

Superhero stories, done well, are about modern archetypes.

I don't think just having N or NO work at all, I quite like NWO (even if there isnt an online suffix)

DDN is too close to DDO imo

NWO might make us a target for Alex Jones and his army of mentally challenged conspiracy clowns, so I'll go with NW.

It would indeed appear to be the case. I'm going solely on the evidence, as ever.

I note also that MMORPG.com also lists it as NW and they seek to have distinctive acronyms across all the MMOs they cover.

I play another of PWE's MMOs so this distinction was more obvious to me.

I've been using NW as well. I just assumed that because Neverwinter Nights was NWN and this time there's no "nights". =)

I use NWO. Most things call it Neverwinter Online, because if you just say Neverwinter most people think NWN. Also most media outlets call it Neverwinter Online. And Cryptic's some of other games have been Star Trek Online(STO) and Champions Online(CO).

Another thing is trying to make a distinction from PnP and MMO, this is Online it is not the Campaign guide.

Quite frankly though, as long as everyone knows what we are talking about I dont care.
    I am usually Deaths Crowbar.
