Founder's Pack Upgrades?

I couldn't see any other post addressing this, so I thought I'd throw this one out to the community.

Okay, so I purchased the Guardian Pack as $200 on a game I haven't tried yet was a bit prohibitive for me. But I've spent more than $60 on games I've hated in the past so the Guardian pack was a good fit for me. Gets me some neat stuff, I get to play the beta weekends, and doesn't hurt my pocket.

What I want to know is this: Since we're rapidly approaching the start of the first beta weekend, I'd like to know if there is, or will be, any way to upgrade a founder's pack to the next level by paying the difference. In my case, pay $140 to meet the difference.

If not, that's fine, and I'll have a tough choice to make about if I want to pick up the big boy package. But if it IS possible, please let me know how, so I can take advantage once the time is right.

Thanks in advance for your guidance and assistance.

PS. Please don't turn this into some sort of arguement about the Founder's Packs. I have no issue paying money in support of the game, I just need to be smart about what I invest in. I have a budget, and I have to stick to it. So please, lets not get bogged down in wars against one another over what is perceived good or bad value. Cheers.

Hi Psi. There are a lot of posts on this one. A search for 'upgrade' would unearth a few like this:

In short: No upgrade path is planned.

That link isn't working for me:( So, if it answers this question, I apologize in advance.

Do either of the two Founder's Kits include the Starter Kit items?
Basically, I bought the Starter kit before I noticed the niftyness of the other packs. Would it be wasteful to buy the $60 pack now that I already have the Starter Kit.

The items do not stack-- you do not get what the tiers below had. That said, paying $60 on top of the $20 isnt so bad given what you get.

I can not believe this BS. I should be able to chose to upgrade. What do I look like money?

Because people have already paid $260 on the game to get both packs. Why should someone that has paid $260 get the same as someone that has upgraded by paying just $60 + $140? If you want to upgrade, then talk to customer support and you will either get a refund of your $60 which you can use with your $140 to get the upgraded pack or just have to pay the $140. Either way you will lose your Guardian key and get the Heroes of the North key.
