Some sort of boxed copy?

Maybe I'm just old fashioned... but a D&D game to me, almost demands some sort of tangible product.

Is everything digital only?

    I too would love to see a boxed Collectors Edition, and perhaps, if the digital sales are out of this world, they may consider it, I for one would purchase it regardless - Just to own it! Heres Hoping! Perhaps when they do their first paid expansion in 12 months, they will release a CE boxed copy that includes the expansion, its not like they haven't done boxed copies before (CO and STO) but Atari was the publisher, so having PWE, it may have to be outsourced.

    CO and STO were not F2P games to start with. I seriously doubt they would make a boxed Collectors Edition. I don't think it would be cost effective.

    This is unfortunate. I really wanted to spend that $200 if there was something physical attached.

    Boxed PC games are pretty much going the way of the dinosaur. The "collectors edition" now means digital items and that's it.

    Alas the above poster is true. I'll keep the thread open to vent/lament if anybody wants or to be reveled at the instant gratification we get for the other side.
