    Some of it is my fault from herding the sheeps from various other forums telling them devs are going to announce something soon .... :D

    How was I to know it would turn out to be true? :?

    You know there are folks on this forum that has been here since the hour the forums opened and they have waited patiently and contributed to the community writing vast sums of known information or helping out newcomers with questions. They kept these forums alive when the vast majority said vaporware and walked away.

    In my mind those folks deserve Alpha keys above some random drawing by just any two hour forum member...who could run right out and sell his Alpha key attached account on ebay. I dunno It just feels like the finger is being given to folks who has given back a great deal to this community.

    I agree. Looking at the majority of these people, they just now started an account in Jan 2013, or minutes ago most likely. But whatever..

    Yea looks like the word is out and the gamers are now congregating here for the potential Alpha invite.


    Is it horrible to wish that only us veterns of the forums get first dibs on the alpha slots? muhahaha!

    Yep I understand, Ive been here a long while myself. but they posted it on the facebook. If It were me more known longtime members would get alpha but it is up to the guys running this as to who gets one. I hope you guys get one

    Ummm, in my defense, I entered my beta key in September from the Torchlight 2 offer. I haven't posted on these forums til a week or so ago, but I have been following them for a few years now! Personally, I hate forums because the majority of posts/info involves negativity and childish antics. I would rather keep my mouth shut, then say anything at all. I was very surprised that when I first posted on here about a week ago, it said that my account was created in Jan 2013. I have been a PW gamer for several years.

    Personally I could care less I was speaking about guys like Truth, Andre, and others who have given a lot back to the community.

    I wish all of those deserving on the forums could access the game but sadly that's not the case. I wish every one of you the best of luck...
    I truly, truly do hope it's one of the true forumites who get the keys but even had it not been post on Facebook we would have hordes of people showing up over here. Word on something like this spreads quickly even without a catalyst.
    And remember, this promotion originated on the foreign Facebook's first. Not the foreign forums.

    Theres quite a lot of content in the game to label it an alpha test but I can understand if they're not 100% sure on it to put it out to the masses of people with closed beta keys, still looking for to getting to play this

    If they sell alpha keys - after 'selling' beta keys; I would be the one handing you pitchforks branded with holy light which will sear their flesh and leave a mark...

    Easy man they're not -that- greedy, but I believe the man was talking about someone who gets an alpha key and sells it on ebay or something.

    Yah Aandre and Truth have been here since the begining and done nothing but give back. I still say they deserve in-game statues

    Wow...just...wow. Can't take a single day off.


    Okay, I'd personally like to award all long-time loyal forumites with keys, but even if that should be done, the "Merge" in April 2012 made tracking that all but impossible with records sometimes going poof but not user with their linked accounts. I'm a good example May 2012, yeah, right.


    Speaking of good examples, I only "de lurked" around October/November 2011 and Andre (now Aandre) a few months later. Others have been here much longer. And after years of very little info and constant release delays, should we "punish" those who went inactive?

    And thank you for your offers, including this public one.

    I haven't been this touched and amused since the moderator submission glitches and the "protest" to build an in game statue of me. (There's an Easter egg you can hunt for while waiting for the game! :p)


    All I can say is thanks to this shiny volunteer title I'm OK on access issues. I won't speak for Aandre (since this post suggestion named us) or others, but pretty certain those who contribute and help others to a positive contribution of encouraging discussion eventually will get rewarded if not already so.


    Now the Alpha leak is out, it and this reply remind me of one of my favorite modern song quotes.


    Seemed apt, on what's written here and since "Losing My Religion" means going crazy and this definately has done that to me since Monday :)

    Awww... you answered my question truthseeker! I have been following this game and the forums for a few years, and I was wondering why it says I joined Jan 2013! I have been a PW game player for a few years as well! Now I know why. I never posted on the forums, so that has to do with it as well I assume.

    This saddens me. I've been checking the forums daily for any news. And yesterday there was none. I come back today and hundreds of people have already posted for alpha keys. I sort of feel cheated. What ever, at least I'll make it to beta.

    Literally 30 posts within 5 minutes of that thread going up. Right now there's well over 2K.

    Post. The odds are slim but you weren't cheated. Whether you post first or last your odds are the same.
