Oh Hai world,

I was talking to someone this weekend about how I have the coolest job in the world and they were mentioning that they'd love to see the kind of things that I run across on the day to day.

So why not. Let's get some cool stuff going.

Today I was walking around the character artists and snapped a quick picture of someone working on some of our female character models.

Hope you enjoy! There will be more to come and i'll be posting them on my twitter. Find me @TheSquez

xoxo

Dude, sweet. I really enjoy seeing stuff like this. I imagine it's a pretty cool workspace :) I can't help but notice how bald she is :)

Is that a DINOSAUR on the drawing board?

So far everyone has been hesitant to tell me about the presence or absence of velociraptors in the game!
Some things deserve to be everywhere.

    Haha,
I love how there's so much to look at in that picture!

One side has all sorts of hints at models and such...we're getting Clydesdale Horses!?

The other side shows the amazingly well detailed yet incredibly bald female model. For those who doubt the graphical quality of the game the detail on the face blown up that large should dispell some of their fears.

And finally, oddly enough, the part which was most interesting to me was seeing the family man wall poster. :D

I hate to go technical here but... it actually works very good with productivity - it makes the person proud of his/her work and keeps the quality of work up. Thus it is a great motivator.

    Absolutely Gillrmn!

My boss' office is littered with family pictures and drawings. It keeps him sane on days like today when I think he was ready to have a heart attack.

I spent more time trying to read the stuff on the poster than I looked at anything else though. I'm laughing at that because logically it should mean the least to me yet I spent more time on that detail than anything which would directly represent the game.

Hrmmm..... I personally hate and loathe all these twitter and FB mandatory usages. ANet did the same thing and many hated it. Why can't we get some simple Dev Diaries and articles posted... ohhh on the actual game website? City of Steam had a forum section dedicated to Dev diaries and talks. Make them secondary and not primary sources of news.

Twitter is cool, just subscribe to RSS and you can put it anywhere like guild website, etc without ever logging in.
