So I was just reading the
Dilithium 101 post on the STO site and that got me to thinking about NW currencies.
In some way Dilithium was a God-send for STO, consolidating all of the various currencies into one single currencies was seriously needed. The fact that it can be traded for "zen" is nice too.
This got me to thinking, how can a similar system be worked in to NW? I mean there will obviously be copper, silver, gold and platinum pieces, but what could work in the place of Dilithium for DnD? Maybe Electrum I've seen that mentioned as a coinage? Ideas?

Argh my memory fails me now so I am not sure where the citation is but when Truthseeker gets on he'll throw in his conspiracy theories into this thread haha. I have seen him post on the subject quite a few times in the past.
removing it and replacing with other currencies is an epic fail
hope crytics is not abt earning money and forgoing the roots of the lore and realmsb:shocked
Yes Andy slipped that the currency is Astral diamond. So it probably is unless it is changed or he trolled us.
@uniquevil: he is not talking about that currency but time based currency or something.
Just to clarify, varrvarr is talking about the real cash currency term and how it will tie into the in game currency. Zen and Dilithium is the game translation of dollars and cents. If you're familiar with XBox Live then this would be the same as "Microsoft Points."
Don't worry we'll be seeing Gold Pieces at least if not the full on copper, silver, gold and platinum!
Hmmm...didn't D&D release a new coin currency within the last year? Perhaps that would be a nice in theme name for the Cash Shop System.
Yeah completely forgot its name. In one of the threads with avarius we were speculating if that one will be used, however Andy "slipped" Astral diamonds which also makes sense.
Also here is the thread on same topic regarding raven omlette .... wait we are talking about raven omlette right?
And another one with currency and same discussion.
Also this one. It has links to older threads on same topic too.

It shifts between old currency and current currency. In D&D NEXT it's current again.
tats a relief i dun mind crytics having secondary curries but pls make it only for cosmetic effects only not not some game changing mechanics
i believe cosmetic are more than effort to make consumers pay for them every one like their own unique character
3-3.5? i think
