Summer Festival 2024: July 25 - Aug 15; is there a Height of Summer

The Summer Festival 2024 on the calendar and news page says that it runs from Thursday July 25 - Aug 15

in past years, has there not usually been a Height of Summer where the provisioning crafting awards double currency? I feel like it was usually for a period time of 1 or 2 weeks extension after the main Summer Festival.
when I look at the calendar, I am not seeing a Height of Summer.

It's not shown as a separate event, but we are getting double petals (but not for everything... same as before probably).
It was like this last year too.

thanks! I never know if something has changed in the event. I wish they were more clear about things like this for the events, and for the last chance vendor time period on events.

    1. So far, this time, I have not noticed any double currency.
    2. I don't expect there will be any after event vendor. At least, I make my plan with that assumption.

Yes, last (3rd) week is Height of Summer. Not sure if piñatas are giving x2, but wining games (first place now gives you 120 instead of 60 like first 2 weeks) and crafting definitely gives x2 (10 instead of 5), so WAI.

That would be my mistake. I still have only 1x for crafting petal but that would be my fault as I forgot to restart the crafting. Hence, 1x was carried over to the last week. Fortunately, it is not a great loss to me because with even 1x, I am still trying hard to spend the petal. I do not play those games except flowers (which is not a competition). Hence, I don't know the competition pay out. I just stand and wait to get the credit for the daily quest.

omg wow, I did not realize that the height of summer was built INTO the event on the calendar schedule as the last week. I must have missed the announcement.

I also did not realize that if you continue the previous summer provisioning gathering flowers that it continues to only yield 5. ugh.
but at least now I know the event is really ending in just a day from now, I better try to spend all the currency that I have accumulated. I was going to leave off until the height of summer, but apparently the height of summer is now.

oh I am re-reading the initial answer to this question, and now I realize that mintmark was saying that we are currently into the height of summer and are getting double petals. I interpreted what mintmark said as we will be getting the height of summer after the calendar event ends on thursday with no formal announcement. but noted now that height of summer is already in progress with the event actually ending on thursday morning.

    Yes... not long left now.
And, petals and gathered flowers will expire after the event is over (the tooltip says how long is left)... so use them or lose them!
