Cant get a claim reward to go away.

in Bug Reports (PC)
On the heros path which I decided to finish-which I sure wish I hadnt everything zipped through until I got to the only section not completely done, it popped up with a claim reward which it wont let me claim and now I can't claim my progress rewards either because they are in back of it.

I do random trials everyday and it doesn't affect the ability to claim the reward, I don't want the reward I just want it gone.

    Are you running Trials (10 man) or Skirmishes (5 man)?

    Yes, I have satisfied that requirement many times over, Like I said I dont care about the reward I just want it to go away so I can get my progress reward, that claim reward is actually like a black hole or an anti reward.3

    And what else doesn't make sense is you don't get a claim reward if you still have to do something to earn it. I so hope someone who can do something about this reads this, all support did was tell me to his control and f.

    It wants you to complete 5 RTQs since you got to that point in the quest. If you've only just got there after the previous step (5 x RDQ) then it needs 5 more RTQs. It doesn't count all the ones you've done before.

    I'm in the same position with the next step for RADQ... trying to familiarise myself using some videos because I haven't done all those dungeons before.

    Thats what the problem is, it wont count any I do until I claim the reward, it wont let me claim the reward bouncing on my screen maybe because it thinks I havent done enough. I cant collect or claim my progress rewards which have been at least 3 since that stupid claim reward showed up. When a claim reward shows up you should be able to claim it right? In both of the pictures I posted it shows a green trophy that needs claiming. How can I make it go away since it won't let me claim it, I could give a rats-a--about claiming it now, I want it gone. They must have a way to fix problems like this.

    Are you saying clicking the bottom left button in your screen does not work?
    Another question: If you did click that button, did anything happen such as a window pop up or anything? Or, it is like you did not click it at all (that is really nothing happen on the screen)?

    What it does is take me to the top picture I posted here and then it takes me to the second one. Thats all it ever does is take me to the heros pathway and then shows how I have two more rt to do. And they never count any I do because I haven't claimed the reward which I cant claim, but the worst thing is it is blocking my progress rewards now up to 4 and probably wont be there when and if it goes away. Once in a while they have a really good reward and I don't want to miss a coal mote lol.

    Did you scroll down to check in your first screen?
    Did you just click on 'View details' button in the first screen and then the 2nd screen pops up?
    'View details' is about the progress of "protector of the People' quest. It DOES NOT lead you to the reward.
    Don't click on the 'View details' button. Just scroll it down (in your first screen) to check.

    The following is just an example and it is not exactly the same as yours.




    I click the 'View Details' of the first screen.



    If I scroll down the first screen:



    Click 'Claim Rewards' (white letters and blue background) in the window.

    (If I understand this right) - I have seen this on a character before where there were two claim reward buttons over the top of each other, the one behind was the normal progress rewards and the one in front was an adventure reward I did not want to click because it would fill up my overflowing bag and I didn't have the time to sort of bag space, so I could not click the progress reward button because it was covered. (And going into edit HUD did nothing because I think both buttons were grouped under the same notification cell.)
    Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.

    The difference is you did not want to click the top one to take that reward vs she wants to click the top one to take the reward. She reported she could not do that.

    Yea but the similarity is one is stuck behind the other and not accessible and that's why I wrote that.

    This is the exact same thing, I don't care about the reward, I am sorry I ever started that heros path because now I can't get my progress reward and haven't heard one thing from support other than try to click control and f at the same time-which didn't work-surprise surprise. How did you get it to go away rockster or did you just quit using that toon?

    And your right plasticbat mine should have had the blue grey claim reward on that page like yours. Bugs just love to bug me.

    The bottom line is it just wont let me claim the reward and blocks my other ones. I think I am going to try to abandon it and see if that helps, I think I already tried that but maybe I just thought about it lol.

    He did not have a problem at all. He just intentionally did not want to claim it at that moment but wanted to claim the progress reward instead. He could claim the top one and he just did not want to. So, it is not exactly the same thing.

    Sigh! I already asked her to do that twice. I don't know if she did that but did not bother to report back or did not read it or did not understand it or did not know how to do that.

    You did not post the picture of the whole page. You did not scroll down to show the bottom of that page.
    Compare the images of the 2 pictures I posted. They are not the same because the screen cannot show the whole page.
    Please post the picture with the black bar moved all the way to the bottom.
    If you want to post the 'whole page', you will need 3 screen shots to show the whole page (based on the size of your black bar). Yours only showed top of the page.

    Poster hasn't been online much in the last few weeks.

    No my computer went out some days before thanksgiving and I waited until the black friday sales so I could get a much better one, if I had bought one then it would not have been much better. You were all right, I will admit it, I didn't scroll down enough, thank you for your help, I feel lame but at least I am an honest lame. TY all for your help. ps seeing details in the game now I didn't even know were there before!

    Thanks for letting us know it all worked out and glad to hear you can enjoy things even more with a better computer.
    I remember when I got a new graphics card and saw shadows in the game for the first time... I went round finding bright things to ride past =)

    When I first played Neverwinter my computer was so bad that I had to disable shadows or I lagged so bad I couldn't play.

    The anger you feel with the unsatisfactory claim process is understandable. It's about growth, not just rewards—a notion that many people can relate to.
