Unbound Forgehammer of Gond not working.

I unbound my Forgehammer from my primary toon whhich no longer needs it and sent it to one of my alts. I tried to use it with said alt, but it does not appear as an available tool in the crafting interface. I contacted support through the help menu in the game, and they suggested posting a bug report.

    Depending on the rarity of the hammer:

    Green (Uncommon) = Lvl 10 tool
    Blue (Rare) = Lvl 15 tool
    Epic (Purple) = Lvl 18 tool
    Legendary (Orange) = Lvl 18 tool
    Mythic (Light Blue) = Lvl 18 tool

    The applicable profession(s) you want to use the tool for must be at least the level of the tool (10, 15 or 18) or it won't appear as a usable tool in the tool selection window.

    Just to be sure... did you equip and activate the artifact to create the tool?
    I think you have to do that, but it's been a long time since I did it...

    Yes, you need to equip the artifact to the primary artifact. Cast it. Then, it will create the tool.

    It has been said by other players and by the tooltip that "the artifact will not summon another tool while the previous one is active". Players have also said that it extends to artifact transfer between characters. So the tool is probably with the character you sent the artifact from. Are you sure you discarded the tool on that character when you transferred the artifact?
