So small chance of mid tier gear in Abyssal Tears.... uh huh right

so can anyone show what this small chance of this new mid tier level gear that is supposed to drop from the abyssal tears, that or at least say what this bs small chance % is because time of this writing this message I have done 7 lesser 2 normal and 1 greater solo and all I have gotten is the ad and fragments from the chest so yeah

biggest question to anyone on cryptics payroll or any forum mods

why make this I would assume epic level gear as a small chance, why not make it like 50/50 or guaranteed drops just be random chance on what you would get since no one in their right mind would use this in stuff like demonweb pits, more or less for who play it would be alt leveling gear to get the good gear out there I mean makes no sense why its at a small chance now if the gear rivaled the masterwork gear in stats that would be one thing i would agree small chance but as i said assume its not gear of that level or better if it drops from abyssal hunts

    Is there a chance to have anything drop (besides the standard stuff and modifier stuff) in the Abyssal tears at all?
    I solo many greater with 3 modifiers like 100 times. I did not get anything extra and do not expect there is anything extra.

    P.S. I take it back. Yes, there is a chance. I finally get one.





    I am not sure if I care though.



    P.P.S. So, my own signature has made a point to me again. It gives me yet another one.

    Northside ran a bunch (way way more than OP) and only got a few. I suspect it's like 1 in 100 chance or something like that.

    yeah saw his video after my post and was like wow the gear is same ilvl as menzo masterworks but way worst stats, and note on my total up to like 30+ at least if not more and have only got 2 pieces of gear as of this response lol at this point rather have changes to the modifiers to get stuff people more so want like a specific modifier for menzo elite sigils for example since to get anything newish ie artifacts you need over 375 per artifact since every single one takes the special pieces from menzo campaign store but anyways not gonna lie I would rather use HC VoS drops on alts then the gear that barely drops on these hunts I mean at least you get something per kill in HC VoS

    There is a bit of a vacuum in the game now to get even mid-level epic gear for alts and non-top tier players. We used to have the juma bags which were not that hard to obtain. The news ones are just a joke so don't go there. Combined with the seals equipment binding changes we have to run our alts through entire campaigns and I am seeing people expressing burnout who have never complained about it before. In the older stuff we at least had those token things that lowered the amount of currency we needed but those are gone as well. I have done about 50 hunts since the patch and have had no drops so this way isn't really viable either without quickly getting burnout. I have been playing since before Chult and I have to admit I am pretty discouraged with the state of affairs as it regards to getting gear.

    yeah 100% agree with you i mean i started my account on the coat tails of when they made orcus the boss of castle never instead of the dracolich and to be honest i like some things they have done over the years but something's like this random small chance bs for gear that is meh at best is like umm yeah okay in my opinion this gear in these hunts should be better chances or have a seal that can drop so you can buy peices when you need/want them for alts because at best this gear isnt good so its for alt characters to do some stuff like say sh dailies or whatever at best

    have not had a problem getting this gear. I have not looked to see what it looks like as a transmute item for any of my toons yet so no idea if any of it is even worth it for that.

    Thats the RNgengine at its finest sometimes amazing for some complete HAMSTER for others I mean its okay as transmutes there is better stuff out there depending on what your after

    Just right after I said I did not get any after ~100 greater hunts, I keep on getting those gears including from 'normal' hunt. Now, I get flooded.
