I'm going to do a full typeup of my idea, but in essence it's a questline, given by Elminster and Minsc, which revolves around Imoen, the former companion from Baldur's gate 1 and 2, and who according to lore went on to become a Magic user who even occasionally worked with Elminster. The questline takes the player to various places, some familiar and some not, following the trail of her last, uncompleted adventure - which she disappeared upon.

The only storyline they will do is what the WoTC written/approve story line.
*** The game can read your mind. If you want it, you won't get it. If you don't expect to get it, you will. ***
"If if that was the case, if it was something then I probably was chasing. I would have never gotten it. That was the whole point, if you chase something, then sometimes you never get it. uh huh if you put forth to work and all the attitude, next you know it's bestowed upon you." -- Michael Jordan

Might be stepping on Larian's toes there.
