i regret logging in daily to do this month's event

i thought it would give me tokens from logging in and doing the dungeon quest 1x a day, but nope, it actually wants you to repeatedly do that one quest and short dungeon over and over. i was told that today, i tried grinding for a token, i did 4 runs through it and only got 1 token of participation.
what the hell? i just wanted some rewards for participating in the event daily, apparently, i cant even get that.. soo im less likely to login, participate in events, or even play your game now because its very unrewarding and unfulfilling. 3 out of the 4 runs i didnt even get 1 token of participation. like what? i'm trying to get tokens of achievement and challenge..

maybe look at other games and see how they handle their events, because this ain't it

Did you take and turn in the daily quest before and after running the dungeon?

No, you only need to do one Portobello's dungeon per day. Anything after the 1st one is just a chance. There is no need to repeat anything within a day.
Not sure if you read the instruction and follow it.

Speak to Portobella in PE to get the quest and the quest tells you to go the inn. After you are in the inn, the quest tells you to do a Portobello's dungeon. After you finish the dungeon, the quest tells you to talk to a NPC in the inn to get the reward which is at least 2 token of participation.
*** The game can read your mind. If you want it, you won't get it. If you don't expect to get it, you will. ***

You need to do it this way...

Take the quest from the guy at the event area in Protectors Enclave. Without leaving his dialogue box, tell him you want to go to the Inn, and click 'I'm ready now'. It will take you to the event map, go to the desk next to the campfire with the npc's all standing behind it, hover your cursor over each one until you find the one you want to do the queue for. Click that npc and select the red dialogue in their box "I'm ready for adventure" or whatever it says. It will open the queue list, from the Events section, choose the queue which matches the npc you just spoke to and enter the queue. Go and wait for the queue to pop. Do the run, then when thrown back to the Inn, you will see the npc near the exit has a blue question mark over his head, speak to him and collect your reward, it does not need to be opened, if you look at your notifications at the same time you turn it in, you will see the two tokens appear briefly.

This is not how other people might do it, but it's how it works for me. I had trouble getting it to register and found this way works all the time so it's what I now recommend doing.

edit: and yea, the one token you have been getting is the 'extra chance' token, not the 2 u get daily from taking the quest I just described above. You should get 2 a day guaranteed, and the extra one is by doing it over and over as u have been doing. So uve been missing out on the main daily quest drop altogether.
Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.
