loads of spare time

Apparently at Cryptic they have loads of spare time to design new rifts in Dread Ring and replace the existing ones when the old ones had been there for 10 years and were perfectly fine.

But no spare time to fix old issues like the ring of fire still floating 3 feet off the floor in the Kabal arena and looking like ka-ka.

    I think these portals are actually part of an Heroic in the Avernus zone(Correct me if I am wrong though). I guess they wanted to make it look like the portals from which the devils appear are actually gateways to hell. But yeah definitely odd change to an old zone. Might be interesting to see of they also changed the portals in dread legion skirmish and other areas where those purple portals used to appear.

    They probably just change the portal entity record in the database to standardize portal to be the same. They may not even notice they changed Dread Ring in the process.

    I've never seen one of these before with the writing around the edges and the symbol on the top.

    1.those prtal are from avernus
    2.skirmish is unaffected
    3.either are good
    4.that time could be used on SH also
    5.trade bar discount when?

    I can never wait long enough. I got 500 from a lockbox yesterday and went straight to the trader and bought companion tokens.

    Oh ok, so not designed recently. But it still took time to place them. In that time they could have fixed some long overdue stuff.

    Although I do remember going through there a few times in the past months and not seeing the portals at all, maybe someone deleted them by accident and they were lost and they had to resort to putting these there instead. They look kind of out of place tbh with the existing lighting and textures. Everything in DR has a nice soft paled-out watercolour misty look and these are as harsh and contrasty as can be. They stick out like dogs ba... and look a bit fake in this environment.

    I'm seeing them now and I don't have the quest. I used to see them before when I didn't have the quest. They'e just fixtures like everything else.
