Steam and the Test Server

How do I join the test server with my steam account? I don't seem to be able to find the right option.

    First you have to copy a character over to the test server.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

    login using your NW login and password.

    I don't have a NW login, that's the thing. I'm a steam user. This acct I'm using has nothing game-wise associated with it.

    My understanding is you always have a NW login. However, if you have linked steam with NW login, you don't need to go through NW login. You might have done that long time ago. i.e. you may forget you have a NW login instead of you don't have one.

    Find Neverwinter on your system. Run it from the .exe file.

    Your steam account memorized a NW login/password so that it does login to NW without your involvement. May be you can check your old NW related email to see if you have that set up.

    Indeed missed that part. But you have an account, you should receive some emails from Cryptic. I assume NW takes the same email as you have in Steam, or it gives you the chance to create another account when you are installing it.

    no, i receive nothing from cryptic, and cannot use the in game support as there is no email linked to my acct. here is the most recent post from cryptic on this matter.
