BUG - Menzoberranzan weekly quest "Cleaning the streets"

It is possible to compelete this quest without completing any activities within the zone.
I noticed the bug, so tested it on one toon to see if progression goes to 100% or stops part way, and confirmed that it does go to 100%.

May be classed as an exploit?

Changing instances or loading from character select gives about 3%. I haven't seen the % just go up from sitting around, as in the old bug from previous zones.

Thanks for confirming. It didn't seem like intended behaviour, so thought it best to report. It terms of "exploitable" bugs, it seems minor, but... best to be safe.

I have just seen it. Mine had 53%. Went to Braeryn District. Still 53%. Stay on camp fire. Went to switch character and come back. It became 56% as you said. Then, later, still at camp fire, it became 58%. Now, it stays at 58%. I don't know what triggered that 2%.

Edit: it is 5%. It gives you 3% first and then another 2% seconds later.

I've got one character in Menzo that idles after I do the weekly. That quest has completed each week just by logging in on him when I do invokes.

It's indeed not intended, but a minor issue. It's probably caused because an activity makes progress for all players in the instance.

It's 2.5% each time. The numbera are getting rounded to the nearest whole. 2.5 becomes 3 and 5 stays 5.

Definitely not an activity that gives progress for all players in instance. I can just use VIP signpost to go back and forth between PE and The Whispering Post. Every time I go back to The Whispering post I gain 2.5% progress on the quest.
