I had some long break of the game i came back and notice some stutters and freezes, is there a fix for it? i am using ryzen 5 5600x,2060 oc rev.1 gigabyte windforce, corsair cl15(16) 3000mhz xmp2 1.35v, ssd corsair mp600 1tb, i have no reason to doubt my system of it cause in other games its all smooth, i tried turning off all the graphic options to check if maybe some particle or something is glitching still same turning off nvdia settings trying v-sync on/off, g-sync on/off seems the problem just stays there. Any suggestions ?

Sadly enough it's the game itself. I have every driver updated! Sometimes the game likes to freeze up and forces me to task manager to end task of the game during a dungeon run. 2022 Asus Tuf Gaming F15.

    Greetings,

    This thread could help you.

I usually recommend the first method if you haven't tried it yet:
    • On the launcher, click on "Options"
    • Uncheck the box "On-demand patching"
    • Check the box "Force verify"
    • Save

@percemer Even on a fresh install, the game will freeze up during some dungeon run. It's the game itself. It's not an often occurrence though. I really think it's the game that can't take higher FPS at times, therefore the game freezes up. The game still has older code, so it's not used to newer hardware. Yet I'm not an expert to know for sure, so it's an assumption.

Does (or did) fresh install give on-demand patching by default?

He might be talking about the 1-2 pause that happens every few minutes. We have this on Xbox too. Was introduced right after a patch, I don't remember how long ago though....4 months?

Happens with or without "limit framerate" enabled

I don't think so @masteroga, because this issue does not affect all players.

Could you please submit a ticket to the Support team? https://support.playneverwinter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

    Thanks!

Maybe it doesn't affect the SeriesX players? I remember the day it started happening alliance chat was full of people asking about it. So it must be fairly widespread among SeriesS or XboxOne users
