What does "preferred: Enlightened" insignia slot of the new mount mean?

What does the 4th insignia slot with "preferred: Enlightened" mean?
Stat will be different? Some kind of boost?

    IIRC You get extra stats if the type matches the Preferred. Otherwise it works as a normal Universal slot.

    Yea looks like if you use any Enlightened-type insignia it gives you a special bonus but otherwise you can use anything.
    Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.

    If it really is only a bonus to item level and not to the stats I will also try to avoid using the prefered insignia unless I really need the extra 100 item level to do a dungeon or trial.

    20% extra seems a bit excessive when compared to all the other percentages we have in the game.

    I would think it is 20% of the item level of that insignia. So, for mythic insignia, 20% would be 100 item level extra. 40 extra item level for legendary. 20 extra for Epic.
    If one has 5 4 slot mount, the max will be 500 extra item level.
    It is something but not really excessive.

    I meant more that we rarely see anything in the game at 20%. If something is buffed it's usually 7% or 10% or 3%. I'm just so used to them being stingy that 20% seems huge just in itself.

    That extra slot will mean very little to new players as that extra 20% only applies to that one extra insignia and mythic insignias of the right type are more difficult to get. Heck I can actually use it myself and yet I did not even waste my time with it as my purchase of the new tiger mount from the zen store was just because I wanted my main to have that tiger as well. Certainly no plans to upgrade it to mythic after viewing the mounts available skill list.

    Besides I am still just working on getting my epic and legendary insignias to mythic and yet in the past few months I have done nothing because it is so expensive to upgrade and I only have enough powder for 3 mythics and now that there are insignias that would actually be useful for my main (healer) I will continue to do nothing until I can get some of the new ones that will actually make a difference to my toons stats once it is upgraded.

    The other few mythic insignias I actually have were either from a free promotional thing or I got it when I was still using the keys you get from VIP.
