I understand that this is new and everything, the app is DLing as we speak.

My question is: is it possible later one once the devs have time to figure out everything, that we would be able to import live toons? Or is it impossible due to the way Microsoft and Xbox work?

For PC test site, there is a web page to allow copying live character (from live server) to test server.
This is more or less the only way to have people to do the testing.

Right I have been on PC preview shard for years, just was curious to know the capabilities or possibilities of Xboxs preview server

Xbox works different to PC and is more limited, so is why right now we cant import pur own toons. There is no copy function for the New Xbox shard sadly.

Press B at the Toon creation screen and you can choose a pre-made one up to 65k IL
