No more race or class quests?

I haven't started a new alt as 21 is quite enough for now, but it occurred to me that you can't start the halfling quest chain with Blacklake gone. Are all those quests kaput? Some of them were pretty good and added variety to the game.

    They left with the level squish and removal of the leveling zones. Most of those quests are in the missing zones.

    So glad I got my orc adventures done when I did. A lot of those were amusing just for the story value alone.

    My family LOVED the race and class quests.

    We still talk about how much we miss them. Major loss to the game when those were removed.

    But, hey, "visual fidelity."

    This seems like another, "if you like it, they will cut it." instance.
    I hope they put them back sometime soon.

    Newer races never had them, and I don't believe paladin ever got them either.

    Not all the old races had one. Not all the old class had one.
