There is no controller support by default, but you can try using an app that lets you manually map out the keybinds on your controller. The result would be pretty clunky though.

Easy answer is, if you want to use and xbox controller, play on an xbox.

wow - I am really surprised by this. I thought using an xbox controller for neverwinter pc would just be plug and play (I thought that it would just involve assigning keybinds to the controller using the in-game keymapping settings).
the way that the neverwinter game is set up - it always felt to me that it was MEANT and designed to be played with a game console controller.

the way that the neverwinter game is set up - it always felt to me that it was MEANT and designed to be played with a game console controller.
It was meant to play on PC and then port to console. Console controller was the after thought, at least, in the beginning. People had used external 3rd party software (unsupported by Cryptic) to get their game pad/controller going themselves.
