Unable to log in

Anyone else unable to login, when i try to log in it gets to the Crytic screen then just sits there , any sugestions would be much appreciated

    Hi Manofbronze - I think i have a similar issue and if so i also have a solution..

    To check, do you go into the Arc Client, select Home and press play, get taken to the Neverwinter load page where you can choose your server etc, press play again and then freeze on either a black screen or slightly further on on the Cryptic game screen?

    If so there are two "fixes" the first is to simply leave the frozen screen in the background, go back into the ARC client and repeat the process from scratch, the game always loads for me on this 2nd occasion, although its a little annoying the frozen screen remains in place until i shut my machine down.

    The 2nd solution does fix the problem properly but takes ages, as you have to uninstall ARC and Neverwinter completely then re-install and everything should work fine. The only problem with this is that I am finding that almost everytime the game runs a patch the problem returns, and i've gotten so fed up with uninstalling and re installing the game from scratch every Thursday that i just live with the black screen issue now.

    As an aside i do think there is an issue with the ARC server, its a known issue it cant connect with peoples Banks to take ingame purchases, it seems to have issues connecting to the game itself. Im no expert but it feels like it needs a good overhaul, and the fact theyre prepared to allow an issue affecting thier income stream to linger for months suggests the appetite or resource to fix it isnt there at the moment.

    Apologies if thats a completely different issue to yours, but i hope it helps.

    Launch the game directly without using ARC. Do a search for neverwinter.exe if you don't know where it is. When the launcher opens, log in with your password and click on the OPTIONS at the top right. Select FORCE VERIFY and save. The launcher will start checking your files for errors which may take some time. It will then launch the game as normal.

    If that doesn't work, then you may have an issue with drivers or hardware.
