...is one of the finest map designs you ever released. Here are my favourite picks:

1) There are paths where you can travel on the mount without being shot down (unlike the New Sharandar)
2) You can travel vast distances without your stamina and AP being arbitrary depleted (unlike SOMI or Avernus)
3) You can trigger a HE! (unique, the only similar thing is in Omu, but this version is much more accessible)
4) The HE expire timers are long enough to cross the map and engage (looking at you, Avernus)
5) It is enough to land a hit in the BHE to be counted towards rewards/quests (unlike many - for example in Icewind Dale you can even solo a BHE and still not get credit for neither the quest nor the reward)
6) There are no general mobs spawning in place of the unique "hunts" which significantly reduced the PvP competition hate and griefing
7) The new addition, Grappling hook, fits the location well
...and I think there are even more good points to be found. The downside of the map is mostly the absence of any chase items - everything aimed for the new players to quickly raise the IL.

So, if you do not see the praises and an increase in the player base, it is most probably the other "choices" you made up till today, like the enchantment rework, which arbitrary lowered the price of all your enchants by factor 10 (at max lvl, more in lower lvls) - which even landed obviously bugged. Or the combat rework, which swapped a decent looking mechanics by a ridiculous one. Or the new player experience, where, after years of suggesting to "not to greet the new player by a raid boss", you "solved" the issue by removing any sense of story or importance. Or may be the collars - with all their flawsand not enough resources (including the money including possibility) to be upgraded within a decade for more than the most dedicated few. I think the throwing aboard the W7 has the least negative impact...

In the end, I have to admit: now you have one of the finest maps you ever created - because you did not include the confrontational ideas from the past. But in a completely hollow game which try to appeal by new "cool" animations. I wish you luck.

I agree it's on the right track. I would like to see a few things going forward. The reputation grind for each faction feels empty. I just got to level 4 with one to get the companion gear. I can't see grinding to level 3 for all for fast travel or level 5 for any much less all 3. All MMOs have the grind but it'd be nice if the rewards were useful. There are a bunch of options, rings, mounts, companions, motes etc... that would make the grind really worthwhile. Same goes for the rare spawn drop currency. I know some people may like the rewards but I think they're pretty lame. Even if you could get decent food, pots or overloads it would make it worthwhile. Those 2 changes I think would make it very re-playable. Avernus is still popular for Juma bags!
