Lone players

Hi I play neverwinter by myself I don’t belong to any guilds nor play with friends. I enjoy the game a lot but it’s very irritating that there is certain things I can’t do unless I am grouped with someone. For example the gifts of simiril I currently have 53 of them and can’t find anyone interested to join a group to exchange them so all the work I did in getting them was a waste of time. I wish you would have some option for lone players. Say allow us at least to sell them in auction or do what you do for dungeons and have a queue set up so us lone players can get groups. I occasionally do buy zen and it blows when I buy something and get a gift of simiril which becomes useless and a waste when you can’t find someone to exchange with

It is a gift. It is meant to give it 'free' to others. If you don't want it, you don't have to purchase it. If it is a drop, you can always trash it.
You can always solo private queue to dungeon.
LFG (Look for Group) channel is meant for the players to get group.

Console is missing most of the channel options that PC has. We have two and can't create more. We do have an LFG option available but it is mixed with all of the others under the same channel tab. We can turn most of them on or off to 'tune out' certain options (e.g. Trade).

I understand shadowknight's point but it has to be born in mind that this game is designed heavily around team play (as are most mmo's).

However, I'm also on XBox and the Winter Festival zone always has people looking to group up for gift releasing so I'm surprised you're having trouble. Do you have the Zone and LFG options turned off on your channel configuration? You would need them open to see the people who are advertising gift exchanges - all a bit moot now of course as the event has finished.

It's up to you if you're not into guilds but there are those that are not elitist or unfriendly - e.g. the XBox guild Casual Dailies (of which I am a member) are a very laid back group with no restrictions or expectations on gear or capability. We've also been around for a number of years and have learned to avoid drama and conflict.
