What are Treasure of the Drow (and others) used/good for

I got some Treasure of the Drow, North, Thay when fishing, what are they good for?

    You can save them up and hand them in to a merchant. He's up some stairs above where the mailbox is near the main campfire.
    In exchange you can get some old campaign currency...

    Sadly that merchant doesn't accept treasures of the drow (no idea where to spend those,) and half of the rest you can buy are obsolete...

    Would have been nice to get an update to that vendor; mod 21 is over three months old now, no reason to still have old sharandar currency on them.
