Fishing will not activate when close to the water
When you try and buy a rod: you are informed that you already have one and merchant will not sell you one.
Have reported to ARC and they are working on it.

    I had that happen. Every time I hit tab to bait the pole I disappeared, which is something I do, but doesn't help me fish lol.

    Are you sure you don't have the rod left from the previous events though? I had the same error and was considering reporting it as a bug, but then found out that I was looking for the rod in my inventory, whereas it's stored under the Useful Items (the key icon if memory serves) and you gotta equip it from there.

    Speaking of Winter Festival bugs, there is an issue with the fishing pool that is the closest to the fishing area exit, where if you dodge or jump into the middle of the pool you get stuck permastunned and black-screened, as if you were teleported to the same spot you landed in. Changing instance or using 'stuck' command doesn't help since it deems you in combat, so the only fix for it is using 'defeatme'. Tried it several times with a friend yesterday, from the outside it looks like the toon just idly floating in the water face down. In general it provides for a very realistic drowning experience, but I doubt it was intended as a feature
