Auction house buying/selling - cancel feature

What do you guys think about a feature like when somebody sells (same for buyer) something, they have like a 10 minute time window where they can cancel the trade? Currently this feature is working in WoW TBC (I got the idea from there). I think this would be cool to see in the game, also would stop auction house bots who just stand in PE doing nothing but flipping items. I hope this gets atleast looked at by cryptic. Cheers! :)

There is no point. The buyer will be confused and complain why a "successful" transaction is removed. Within 2 minutes, the person would even take it out from the mail box, equipped it, upgraded it and dump his old pieces. To do what you want and be less confusing is:
    1. post your item with a 10 minutes delay (do you really want it? I don't) or
    2. take extra 10 minutes to complete the transaction (do you really want it? I don't) that hold up your fund for 10 minutes.

For most people, the "solution" is: be careful and take your own 10 minutes to verify if you did it right N times before clicking the button.

A couple days earlier I put up a Honey badger for 350k instead of 3.5 mil (I missed a number). A lucky guy named XYZ from the XYZ guild immediately bought it. What do you guys think about a feature like when somebody sells (same for buyer) something, they have like a 10 minute time window where they can cancel the trade? First of all, you should not mention the nick of the person who bought it, because he is fine, you put up for an attractive price, he bought it.
And secondly, you pay for stupidity.
I find it absolutely disgusting to complain on a forum like this.

I agree, this post was nothing more than an attempt at publicly naming and shaming someone who's done absolutely nothing wrong. You can sell something worth millions for 1 single AD if you want to, plus people aren't to know what's inside someone's head at the time they post it, some people put things cheap for a very fast sale, once it's up it's up and people take it at face value. But you can take an item down at any time anyway, even immediately after posting it (as long as there is no high bid entered and it's only a buy-out listed) all that happens is you lose your fee. So no idea what this thread is about other than to name and shame someone and try to make them look bad publicly. And before the OP says that was not the reason for the post, there can be no other reason for including their name and guild. Kind of transparent. - Grow up.
Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.

Whatever. Thought making it more personal, but seems like you guys immediately jump into defense mode so I just left the idea there.

Personally, I wouldn't mind my listing going up like 1-2-3-5- or 10 minutes later, if I can avoid a mistake. Or atleast a confirmation message would be nice, like "Are you sure you want to post it for xyz?" Yes - No

Edit: Or not at when posting, but when someone buys it, you get a 10 minute window like "Confirm or Cancel the trade or if not responded in 10 minutes, the trade is accepted automatically"

It's not a defense mode, it's a matter of good taste, of culture. He didn't make a mistake. You did.

Make a self timer to yourself. Sure, you don't mind a lot of things. However, everybody else do mind for the delay. Punishing others just in case you may make a mistake?

They buy it when you're offline. Are they supposed to wait for ten minutes after the next time you log in? I don't think so.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

How about just double-check the price when you put up a high-value item. I do it. Its pretty easy.
