Double Chult rewards not working

I was on 125/175 idols for the week. Did Fane of the night serpent which showed 50 idols as the reward, turned the quest in, said I was over the weekly limit and gave me 25. Then turned in some lich lore, showed 6 as the reward, gave me 3.

    WAI, you don't want the weekly progress bar to double. If it did, there would be little benefit to the event. Just ran a test, Shrines gave 25 on the weekly bar but 50 currency as stated in the quest.

    You don't want to hit the cap faster. If it does, the double does not do you any good. You do not speed up the progress. You only finish the week earlier.

    I didn't notice the number of idols go up by 50 either, will take a more careful look next time
