where are the dx files located

i'm looking for the dx files but i can't find them...there a pop up sayin' that i'm missing files...i can't even find dxsetup.exe...after the cryptic dragon screen...i get a black screen with music playin'...

just in case...
hp compaq 6200 pro sff pc
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500S CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.70 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.89 GB usable)
intel hd graphics

    Have you done a force verify? It should check and fix any files which are missing or corrupted. Before you try to launch the game to begin with, open the launcher and click 'options' in the top bar, find the checkbox 'Force Verify' in the 'patching' section which will be empty and click it to place the checkmark. Click 'save' and the options menu will close and it will run through your installation for you. You don't have to de-select force verify afterwards, it clears the checkbox after it runs automatically. See if that helps your problem.
