Hello all,

Quite frustrated here. I'm just going to toss this out, because I was encouraged to do so by the Dev who answered my ticket...

On August 4th, the "Neverwinter: 20 Weeks of Gifts" event was posted...

However, a full week PRIOR to this posting, the first gift: "50% off any item" showed up in the claims agent. Like many, I'm sure, I was surprised, yet quite pleased to see the coupon appear for no reason, and like many, I didn't claim it right away, as most, if not all items in the claims agent have no expiration date.

Fast forward 1 week, the post of the event goes on the news page, but low-and-behold, the posting is one week late. Not only is the posting late, but the first gift listed was no longer available.

When I brought these facts to the attention of Cryptic, I was told:

"Rewards from the 20 Weeks of Gifts promo require manual claims and the entire server was told the same information."

Ok, the manual claim thing, I get, but what is this "information" we were all supposedly told? I cannot find ANYWHERE on the post , nor on the items themselves, that state: "this item MUST be claimed by this date/time, or it will expire."

Am I missing something, or is Cryptic at fault again?

    Yes, I missed that too but I considered that as my fault. Based on my experience, I knew it would be gone eventually. I just did not know when and did not try to find it out.

    The only thing I would complain is why the week cycle starts on a Tuesday instead of the 'usual' Thursday on PC. I was thinking it could be gone on that Thursday, the typical end of PC week.

    I don't know, I'm just seeing it kind of crappy for cryptic to invoke the "you snooze you lose" rule when so many other things remain on the claims agent for a long time.

    Hell, I have a renegade illusionist that's been there for 4 years and I still haven't claimed it.

    And I'm still confused of what this "information" is that they claim we all received.

    In these 4 years, there have been many "you snooze you lose" items. This is not my 1st one or 2nd one or ...
    This is my "fool me nth times, shame on me" item.

    I guess it's ironic because I was going to use the 50% off to buy 6 more months of VIP. Won't be doing that now

    That was what I planned to buy too. However, I still have 200 days to go. I can wait for the next time.

    I even manually claimed it, but it disappear suddenly after one week, after it was placed to reclaim promo store, like two days after after i claimed it. support do no help, its just gone after one week, noone know that this gonna happen. bad bussines

    pretty much sums it up.. They posted in a newsletter or a twitter feed that it was coming up but didn't officially announce it on the launcher (you know.. that thing we all use and see) until the second week. Look what you COULDA had!! thanks cryptic!

    Like the current prizes it had to be claimed before the next one came out. Once claimed it had a 2 week timer on it before it would disappear. I'm not sure when it was first announced but I seen the info in a stream they did. Sorry ya missed it, there are 20 weeks of things though, maybe we'll be lucky and they will be another one?!?! *Crosses fingers
