Hi, i have a problem... i need more slots in my appearance library. I have many appearances in the bags of an alt, but I would like to use those appearances. Is there a way to have more slots? Maybe some services in zen market?
Thank you

At present, I would look for duplicates to be deleted. I am curious, how many slots are allowed?

The database record sets the number of maximum slots, I doubt they want to expand player records, with everything else going on, at this time. It would add more chaos to the system, if not handled properly. Think about all the items the database keeps track of on just one character. Items in your mail, banks, guild info, personal inventory, gold, AD, Zen, all the various currencies, is just the tip of the iceberg. Adding more slots can create an accidental offset in the accounts and poof! something else disappears. I think shared bank slots is a maximum of 88, they start you out with 16 personal and 8 shared and just allow access to the rest. I imagine the database has 8 zeros for an empty shared bank followed by the 9th being a negative one. Such as; 0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,-1, (followed by 79 more zeroes) when you place an item into a given slot it is just a number; 0,0,0,27387,0,0,0,0,-1,... Item number 27387 is in another record with description, icon, values, etc..

Instead of asking for more slots, everyone is better off just to maintain their inventory.

You cannot add true duplicate (same item id) to the appearance library.

You can add different items with identical appearances though. For instance, the old Valiant Warrior Greaves for Fighter have the same appearance as (AFAIK) every +5 and +6 fighter leg armor from the leveling maps as well as the Fool's legs from Undermountain. The color map is a bit different for the Fool one but the look is otherwise identical. Another example would be the old Alliance/Elemental Alliance pieces, for which every class has 4 items with the same skin.

It would really be nice to be order the library. It's not even truly in order of the item being added now, as the Combat Change patch reversed the order, placing the oldest items at the bottom and newest at the top... but items added since then still go to the bottom.

Yes, but I have to assume he meant items with similar appearance, I would ask him but he went to bed already. There is a multitude of costume items that have different names but are the same shape and style.

I would like to have the ability to mix and match costumes across the classes. Just recently, I can now put classless items on my characters, but where is the harm in having a cleric wearing what appears to be for a wizard or rogue? The appearance library should be classless, if that is possible. It should be since I can preview gear not meant for my class.

I have a huge appearance library, which includes many things not found in the game any more...but by regularly removing different items with identical appearance (but typically different color schemes), I manage (barely, in some cases) to stay below the limit.

    So, yes, just delete duplicates.
    Hoping for improvements...
