double points in Chult

Despite the notification of double points only normal points are credited when I hand in quests are others getting this bug ?

    I did a number of quests yesterday and I believe I was getting the double amount. I will check later today to make certain.

    Did you do any quests yesterday, or is this after the patch today?

    It is not a bug. you get the double points as intended and the tracking of points earned in the campaign journal is still done as single so that when you reach the normal max amount that you can earn during the event it is the double amount.

    The double should be done at the moment you return the quest to the quest giver and not when you received it.

    I see everything you say but I only get normal points on quests even though the notification at the bottom right when I hand in the quest shows the double amount when I check the weekly total its not added in the double total e.g I had 150 omu idols - handed in 3 quest and only had a total of 165 - fane only gave me 25 points as to HoC and the Heroics

    That's because the extra amount is not counted in the weekly haul. You got 50 Omu Idols, 25 were counted for the weekly haul, 25 (extra from the event) weren't, but you still got them.

    This is a very good thing, it allows you to get 350 Omu Idols in a week while the event is running. You would only be able to get the default 175 if the extra amount was counted in the weekly haul, so the event would not really be very useful if that was the case.

    In short, check other places instead of the haul.
    e.g.
    1. when you return the quest, it tells you how much you will get. Don't click it fast to get rid of it.
    2. check the log. It tells you about how much you get
    3. check the purse.
    4. check the bottom of the campaign. Remember the before and after amount.

    If the extra is added to the haul, it defeats the purpose to get 2x currency. You will get the exact amount of currency, not 2x, just getting it faster.
